Hot Springs National Park

Description: There are 47 hot springs here, and this reserve was established in 1832 to protect them. That makes this park our oldest national park. The park is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except in the summer from May 28 to August 12, when they stay open until 6:00 p.m. Dogs are allowed at no additional fee at the park and in the campground, which does not have hookups. Dogs may not be left unattended, they must be leashed, and cleaned up after. Dogs are not allowed on the trails or in the buildings.
