Whereas Aries is typically impulsive and adventurous, a Capricorn pet likes things to be routine and safe. He will not appreciate the unexpected events and irregular lifestyle which his Aries owner enjoys so much.

Capricorn can be quite demanding for plenty of physical affection which his Aries owner may sometimes be unwilling or unable to give.

Both Aries owner and Capricorn pet have very different wants and needs. However, opposites attract and, with enough effort even this unlikely pairing can sometimes work out very successfully.

General Advice:
A Capricorn pet will do anything and everything to get what he wants. If he stubbornly demands to be let outside, let him out - he's not going to give-up until you open the door or window.

Capricorn love routines. Although not quite as meticulous or fussy as Virgo, these pets want things to be in the right place and events (such as feeding and walking) to happen at the expected time. When something isn't as it should be, a Capricorn pet will be sure to let you know.

To make a Capricorn very happy, simply feed him everyday at the same time (he'll be very satisfied eating the same food at every meal), or take him on the daily walk he knows and has come to expect. He will make sure that you know quite how pleased he is.

You can start to train your Capricorn cat or dog as soon as they are weaned. They are usually highly intelligent and very unlikely to make the same mistake twice.

Although Capricorn pets have a reputation for enjoying solitude, they are often too shy to ask for the affection and praise they crave so greatly.

As with the two other Earth Signs, Taurus and Virgo, in order to avoid obesity, your Capricorn pet may occasionally need to be put on a diet (especially if he is reluctant to exercise).
