A $17.50-$35/month membership fee is required; an electronic card entry system ensures only pooches privileged with membership cross the double-gated entry.; 2-foot-deep swimming pond.

Church Square Park

Description: fenced, benches, tables, handicap, trees, lights, water, trash great mix of people and dogs; close to main avenue where you can get something to eat and parade your pooch around town.

Cooper River Dog Run

Description: This park is fenced, has benches, poop-bags, trees, lights, trashcans, parking, restrooms, and is handicap accessible. There is not a lot of shade in the summer as most of the dog park is in full sun - it gets hot. There are 2 or 3 light along the side of the dog park but these are more ornamental than illuminating, the dog park is in an isolated area of the park, so park users suggest that late night visits be avoided. There are portable toilets about a quarter mile from the dog park, but only for the summer season.

Pooch Park (Cooper River Park)

Description: The Pooch Park portion of the park allows dogs to be unleashed in the fenced in area. The dog park offers water and cleanup stations, tables, and lighting. Open 6am-10pm with no fee.

Description: This fenced off-leash dog park is located in Thompson Park adjacent to the Craft Center. Access the area using the park maintenance entrance which is west of the park gate and follow the road to the end and turn right.
