Description: This park has a designated off-leash area which
is located in the Freedom Trail area. Dogs must be leashed
when outside the leashed area. The park is located east of
the Utah State Capitol.
Parley's Gulch

Description: The Parley's Gulch area behind Tanner Park is
now an official off-leash area. However, Tanner Park is not
and dogs must be leashed there. This is mostly an unfenced
area. The off-leash dog area is around the intersection of
the I-80 and I-215 freeways. There is a fence between the
off-leash areas and the freeways.
Sandy City Dog Park

Description: This fenced, one acre dog park has benches, trees
for shade and a walking trail. From I-15 exit at S 106th.
Head east to State Street and head north (left) on State Street
to E Sego Lily Dr. Turn right on Sego Lily Dr. Turn right
on South 300 East to the park.
Millrace Off-Leash Dog Park

Description: The fenced, Millrace Park Dog Park is open during
the summer from 7 am to 10 pm and during the winter from 7
am to 7 pm. The park will be closed during bad weather and
possibly after bad weather. Beginning in July, 2006 the dog
park requires an annual permit to use the park. It costs $10
for Taylorsville residents and $25 for non-residence. To get
